Proposals with three options and PVGIS yield
One proposal now carries up to three versions of the plant, and the client picks online. Yield is computed from PVGIS data, and that figure sits next to the formula in the PDF and the proposal.

Two updates that change the conversation with a client: options in one proposal, and real yield from PVGIS.
Up to three options in one proposal
A client rarely knows up front whether they need a battery. One proposal can now show side by side:
- Grid-tied plant.
- Hybrid + battery.
- Hybrid + battery + generator.
Each option is priced on the server by the same engine as the project. The inverter of the needed type and power comes from the catalogue, or it is the one you picked. The battery is the project's or one from the catalogue. Autonomy is computed from the load during an outage. Each option shows its savings and payback, and — when financing is on — the compensation and the 0 % loan.
We never make up a generator price. Your price goes in; without one, the line reads "price per the installer's list".
While the proposal is a draft, the options can be edited. On the proposal page the client sees them side by side, picks one and accepts with their name. You see which option they chose; the offer.accepted webhook carries the pick too. The PDF has an options table. Proposals without options work as before.
Yield from PVGIS
Yield used to come from a formula. Solispec now uses PVGIS 5.3 data (the EU Joint Research Centre). For each panel orientation, that is a typical year built from ten years of SARAH3 hourly data.
From it, the engine runs an hourly balance with a battery: what is used at once, what charges the battery, what goes to the grid. The Energy panel under Generation shows:
- the PVGIS yield next to the formula's;
- self-consumption and self-sufficiency;
- import and export;
- savings, payback and a monthly table.
The load profiles (family, heat pump, EV, business 8 to 18) are typical assumptions, and the interface says so. The public payback calculator has a "More precise with PVGIS" mode as well.
In the PDF and the proposal
The project PDF and the proposal show a line "Yield per PVGIS 5.3 (EU JRC)" under the formula's yield. A proposal freezes that figure when it is sent, so the client sees what you saw. Without a location in the project, or without an answer from PVGIS in time, the document shows the formula alone, as before.
